Baggage: You can also take skis, pushchairs, dismantled cycles in a bike bag and water-sport boards. Free of charge. All luggage must be labelled. Special areas for outsize luggage on board or you may also keep your bag with you if it fits.

Station stuff: There are left luggage facilities at several stations. Lille has a staffed left luggage facility, at the extreme south end of the station's passenger concourse. Prices vary depending on the station, the size of the locker and the duration. Have small change ready as you can't pay by credit card. It is important to note: lockers may be unavailable for security reasons.

Tickets can be posted to any address worldwide (except the US) free of charge, picked up at the station counter or printed off at self-serve electronic ticketing.
Like air fares, the adult, youth & senior fares increase as the cheaper seats are sold, so book early and shop around for the cheapest departure. Non-changeable, non-refundable.
Cheap advance-purchase fares called 'prems' are available if you book in advance.
Seating reservation are compulsory, and can cost between €3-8 depending on destination.
